Wizkid Proves he’s king as he tops Burna Boy on Spotify Streams. Two times nominated singer, Burna Boy and one-time winner of the Grammy awards Wizkid has their craft speaking for them. The global superstars have proven times and times again why they’re the biggest in Africa.
However, there can only be one king at a time and Wizkid takes the crown this time. Following Spotify’s latest update, Wizkid garnered over 5 Million streams. With a daily stream of about 3.7 Million, of his 202 tracks.
While Burna Boy came close with over 4 Million streams in total and a daily stream of 4.6 Million of his 233 tracks. Fans are fascinated about the gap in daily streams where Burna Boy has a higher number than Wizkid.
Although some who pointed out the difference claims that daily streams determines the win, while others beg to differ. Emphasizing that the cummulative streams which puts Wizkid ahead shows he’s still leading the game.
Both artists seems to have nothing to prove since their careers have kicked off to international levels. The streaming numbers are only but icing on the cakes judging by the numerous sold out shows they’ve been able to pull.
