Bella Shmurda in an interview with popular podcaster Adesope on his podcast ‘The Afrobeat Podcast’ said that the

Grammy award winning artist Wizkid gave him a golden advice which he’s sticking by to this day.


According to Shmurda, he had asked Wizkid for a piece of advice during a work project in Ghana where he met the starboy,

and Wizkid’s advice to him was to preserve himself as an individual and preserve his music as well.


Bella who has had the honors of being featured in Wizkid’s new single ‘E Don Spoil’, revealed that since that advice he got from Starboy Wizkid

his team has noticed the changes and they’ve asked him about it.


The Yxng Alhaji stated that his reply to their questions about;

“Bella, you don’t go out, you are scarce”


My reply to that is always, “like you know I am just trying to preserve myself. I met Wiz in Ghana, and I asked for advice, and he

told me Bella, one thing preserve yourself. like he gave me that big advice, and I held it. Like not only my music my attitude. Like

your voice can’t be everywhere you can’t be seen everywhere just because you’re an artist.


Wizkid is an inspiration to a lot of young artists both home and abroad, the way he seem to have mastered the media and how he
