Nigerian Starboy and one time Grammy award winner has giving his fans more bragging rights. As he makes an appearance on live television. Wizkid who seem excited ahead of his long awaited show made an appearance on the BBC London.
Since the singer announced the show which has a 60,000 seat capacity, at the Tottenham stadium. He describes London as a place that feels like home, and being that he had his first major Gig there has always been amazing. The interviewer described Wizkid as one of the biggest names in Afrobeat. While also announcing that the popstar is performing live at Glastonbury festival, UK tonight.
Speaking on the BBC London, Wizkid said “London is like the first place I ever played my first big international Gig. So London has always been down with the Afrobeats wave from early. We Africans, we are always persuasive with our culture, our ways of life and our music. So of course people would bounce and gravitate towards that”.
Meanwhile, Wizkid’s show would has been scheduled for the 29th of July, and the singer is in London making final preparations. The venue is said to be sitting a 60 thousand capacity and Wizkid promises to give fans a show like never before.
