Rudeboy’s girlfriend speaks on respect over love. Nigerian singer and performer as well as one-half of the Psquare band Paul Okoye popularly known as Rudeboy. Before now have his two cents on men who will always choose respect over love any day and anytime.
According to Rudeboy, love actually means little to men while all that’s important to them is respect. Since his divorce from his ex-wife, has been finalized, people assumed that could be the reason for their separation. Paul’s new girlfriend Ivy is hereby throwing more light on the topic as she took to her IG story to drop her opinion.
Speaking on the matter, she wrote, “Men don’t need love, all they need is respect is cap”. While adding that “These are two different things bro. If that’s all you need, what’s the difference between your partner and any random person. Cause anyone can respect you… But there’s respect in love too”
“And those men that keep demanding respect up and down like their lives depend on it, hope you know it’s earned?. Stop acting like a dog and treat others with respect too”.
Although her statement isn’t agreeing with her man’s take but also not disregarding the importance of respect. She’s of the opinion that respect is earned not demanded. If you want respect, you must also give respect as well.
