Rema abandons university admission. Mavin signee and rockstar is popularly known by his stage name Rema. He recently revealed why he isn’t going to the university. During a media round abroad, he spoke about his music career and personal life, and Rema opened up about his education.

 

He revealed that he got admission last year into the university of Lagos state Nigeria. But he bailed on it because they went on strike, and the interviewer who was visibly surprised asked him to repeat. And Rema emphatically stated that he bailed on his admission to UniLag because they went on strike.

 

“I got admission like last year. But I bailed on it because they went on strike. You know the school went on strike. They’re back but it took like 8 months, I wanted to like really strategize on how I’m going to do it. Part-time schooling and touring but the whole strike just made it look awkward”. He was asked if he went back but Rema replied that it took them a period of 8 whole months. In order to get back from the strike and by the time they returned the entire thing was already awkward. Considering the fact that he was already strategizing on how he was going to combine everything. Including music, touring, and doing school on a part-time basis.

 

Rema stated he saw the whole strike thing like a glitch, so he just had to move on. Adding to his statement, the singer said he’s going to pass on the admission for now. Because life is already moving on a fast lane for him.
