Libianca features Omah lay. The Cameroonian-American artist Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji is popularly known by her stage name Libianca. The talented singer rose to fame due to her breakout single ‘People’ which debuted on US Billboard. Which also claimed the number 2 spot on the US Billboard Afrobeat charts and was popular on social media too.
Libianca also revealed the song was inspired by a condition known as cyclothymia. Additionally, the song ‘People’ gained traction on social media and people from various spheres of life could relate to the music. The lyrics of the song which are packed with deep meaning, describe emotions.
The Cameroonian singer recently announced a remix featuring two talented Nigerian artists. While the singer excitedly announced the people, honoured to do justice to one of the fans’ favourite bops. She also revealed that Omah Lay and Arya Starr are going to be adding their magic to her hit song ‘People’.
She posted on Twitter saying “If I get 500 retweets on this tweet I’ll release the ‘People’ remix this week. Your faves are on there and their verses are sweet”. It was to hint at the upcoming remix.
The ‘People’ remix has already been released and by the sound of it, it’s hard to choose which is better. Since Omah Lay and Arya Starr did justice to the song and left no crumbs. They understood what was needed to spice it up and they both did justice to it.
