The husband to Beyonce and father of 3 is a music producer, rapper, and business tycoon. Jay Z has been instrumental in the music industry, as an OG in the game. It’s no doubt the rapper has amassed wealth during the course of his career.
According to Forbes, as of March 24th, the 53 years old American rapper’s net worth surpassed a whopping sum of 2.5 billion dollars. Jay Z whose original name is Shawn Carter is ranked as the 1,208th wealthiest person in the world today.
Last year Forbes reported the Rapper’s net worth to be 1.4 billion. However, the significant boost could be accredited according to Forbes. They credited Jay Z’s accomplishment to his “sprawling and diversified empire.” The rapper knows to diversify investments which has paid off judging from his growth over the years.
This reportedly included assets such as his entertainment company Roc Nation. As well as his fine art collection which features rare creations by artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. The rapper has always been good at business, so it’s no surprise his investments are evidently paying off.
