Singer Iyanya looks back as the year draws to an end as he give thanks for not begging to perform in shows anymore
Iyanya begged to perform; Nigerian talented singer Iyanya Onoyam Mbuk popularly known as Iyanya is an
afropop singer and performer. Iyanya who has had a good 2023 looks back to reflect and give thanks. The
singer is beyond proud at how far he has come since the days of giving free shows and having none at all.
The singer Iyanya reminisce on the times he begged to perform in shows and times he didn’t mind to perform for free. But unlike
last year 2021, he has multiple shows lined up and credit alerts on a daily booking him to make an appearance.
According to Iyanya’s tweet via his verified social media accounts the singer tweeted
“Last December 2021, I performed at 3 Shows, one paid and I begged to perform at 2 just to be seen.
2022 December, I wake up and everyday to alerts for shows, haven’t had this kind of busy December since 2017.
20+ shows in on month. God Thank you??.”
Iyanya also went on a thanking spree on all those who helped him get back up on his feet, he thanked @Ubifranklin,
@Donjazzy, Arya Starr, Kizz Daniel, Davido etc. The specially thanked Kizz Daniel for writing the smash song ‘Like’ and
gifting it to him. He also thanked Davido for giving him the necessary push he needed to stand back up on his feet.
The singer who is an ex-lover to beautiful actress Yvonne Nelson has also had a fan question him on how he could have
lost someone like her being that she’s a whole package; and the singer fired back at him with “E be like say you dey ment”
