I’ve never experienced heartbre4k in a relationship. Popular Nigerian songstress, Simisola Kosoko simply known as Simi has revealed she doesn’t know what heartbre4k is. The wife to popular singer Adekunle Gold disclosed in a recent interview with reality star Tacha on Cool FM, Lagos.
According to the talented singer, she has never experienced what people now tag breakfast, because she hasn’t been h3artbr0ken before. Adding that her latest h3artbre4k song ‘Stranger‘ wasn’t inspired by any personal experiences but it was meant to people going through it.
However, while speaking on the interview she said “I don’t think I have ever been h3artbr0ken. I don’t know, that song (stranger) came to me very easily. I guess maybe I’m just a champion for people that have taken breakfast severally (laughs)”.
Continuing her statement, she said “I’m here for them. I mean, somebody has to be. And I remembered that I was thinking; I like love a lot, I think about love a lot. And I felt like one angle that I probably haven’t explored like that is… You know, like you’re in a relationship, they’ve not given you breakfast yet but you feel like you’ve changed so much. And you’re doing things, accepting things or adapting to things that normally you never would. And then one day you look yourself in the mirror, and you’re like I don’t know that person”.
Meanwhile, those who could relate with the same experience of never been h3artbr0ken saw themselves as being lucky. While those who have a back-to-back experience called it a lesson for a life time.
