I wasted 2 million dollars Davido revealed. The Nigerian superstar and hitmaker Davido have disclosed some information about his last album and how much he put into it. The singer who recently released a new album ‘TIMELESS’ has expressed his gratitude and surprise with how much success the album has generated.
But in a recent interview with @Hot97, he revealed that before this current album which didn’t cost him much. He has previously wasted money to produce an album which can’t be compared with this new one in terms of success. According to him, he literally wasted millions on nonsense.
In his words “My last album I spent a lot on just nonsense, not just the American features, shooting videos and all that. I spent nothing less than 2 Million dollars but then, I spent just 300k dollars on my Timeless album. And I’ve already made more from it than I made from my last album in just a couple of days”.
Davido further disclosed that he didn’t have much support from his dad while starting out. But now they’re good and he’s proud of him. According to him “Whenever my dad saw a flier of me performing somewhere, he would send police to come to arrest me. And arrest the show promoter and every other person involved. He never wanted me to do Music, he wanted me to go to school but today he’s proud of me”
