Music producer Don Jazzy has revealed the reason he uses portable as a case study to train his signees
instead of Buju(BNXN)
Nigerian most wanted music producer and Mavin records owner Don jazzy has revealed that he uses portable as case study
to train Rema, Arya Starr, and others instead of Buju.
The music executive Don Jazzy acknowledge that BNXN is an amazing artist doing amazing things but there’s something about
stats and how it works, algorithm doesn’t know the artist it just recognizes who is on top of trends and Portable has used his platform
really good to the point where people just want to know what next he is up whether it makes sense or not. they just want to be
entertained.
In the interview, the producer stated;
“There is Buju who’s an amazing fantastic musician and then… I’m not saying that the followers count or means that much but the
time that Zazu (portable) came out he got a million followers on Instagram faster than Buju that had like 7 number one songs in the year”
“He’s talented, he’s everything but then just because Zazu (portable) was entertaining us, he was giving us something algorithm
favoured him and everybody just wanted to go to his page and see what he’s doing. That’s somebody who with the help of
Olamide got to be in the limelight and he said sh!t I’m not going anywhere”

Don jazzy continue “I used to use him as an example to my artist, I tell them see if you sit and and be forming Jugulum algorithm
will leave you and go to where is popping. Let’s say algorithm is a human being in the 80’s that knows Beyonce, it will always favour
Beyonce regardless of who is currently trending but in this time and age that’s not how it works.
