Another win for the country as Nigerian lady Hilda Baci Breaks the Guinness world record
Hilda Baci breaks Guinness World Record for cooking. A Nigerian-born and bred lady who is
now popularly known has broken the Guinness world record for cooking. She currently holds
the highest cooking time as she surpasses former record holder set by Indian chef Lata Tondon in 2019.
Meanwhile, Hilda Baci hails from Akwa Ibom state, in Nigeria. The Nigerian chef has broken the Guinness
world record for the “Longest cooking marathon by an individual”. She started cooking on
Thursday, May 11th and surpassed the 87 hours 45 minutes record set by the Indian.
Meanwhile, the chef is on track to cook for 96 hours, setting a new world record as the first human on earth to do it.
Despite her tenacity, Hilda has been receiving massive support from Nigerians, political leaders and celebrities. According to
reports she only has a 30-minute break every 6 hours and isn’t allowed to take coffee or energy drink as
stimulants. Because she’s only allowed to eat food and drink water.
Although, the love and support she receives from people had been a major inspiration as she cooks and serves people.
