Are You Up To The Challenge?
As the Head of Business Development, you’ll be tasked with crafting and executing a strategic plan to drive revenue and market share growth through successful PC and console game publishing partnerships. This includes identifying new opportunities, nurturing relationships with developers and key stakeholders and negotiating and finalizing deals.
You will lead an agile, multidisciplinary team focused on sourcing top-quality games, refining their development for optimal performance and launching them successfully in global PC and console markets.

The PC and Console department (PCC) operates as an autonomous publishing unit within Kwalee, deliberately small to ensure expertise in each of its 7 functional teams. Collaboration across these teams is key to achieving the best outcomes for our games.
What Does The Job Actually Involve?
- Collaborate with the Head of PC and Console Publishing to devise and implement a strategic business plan aligned with overall goals.
- Identify synergies and efficiencies with the Mobile Platform Publishing team.
- Seek out new business opportunities and manage the process of securing high-quality game publishing deals.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with stakeholders including developers, publishers, distributors and investors.
- Lead negotiations and finalize deals on behalf of the company.
- Oversee the business development (Game Scouting) team, providing guidance and support.
- Track and report on the success of business development initiatives.
- Foster internal and external relationships to enhance growth potential, market share and agility.
- Streamline new deal evaluation processes for early identification of quality and potential.
Your Hard Skills
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in publishing, project management, external relations, etc., preferably in PC & console games.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
- Experienced in handling complex commercial agreements and contracts.
- Ability to efficiently close deals.
- Passion for games and deep knowledge of the PC & console games industry.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
