Sammy Okposo is a Nigerian talented  gospel artist and award winner, his hit song ‘Wellu wellu’ had both young and old

vibing to it. He attended concerts both home and abroad, he’s indeed a well known artist.

 

The veteran gospel artist was reported dead on Friday, 25th November. According to numerous sources, the singer slumped

and died instantly, the cause of death is still  unknown.

 

Sammy Okposo’s manager has recently revealed the actual incident that took place. According to his manager Hillary Vincent,

he refuted the claim in an interview with Punch news  that Sammy slumped and died. He further revealed that the singer died

in his sleep. He slept and didn’t wake up, he passed away in his sleep peacefully.

 

In his words; “ it’s not true that Sammy slumped and died. That report is false. At the right time, the family will set the records straight.

But I can tell you authoritatively that he did not slump. Rather he just did not wake up from his sleep. As regards the funeral arrangements,

the details will be made known by the family. But right now, they’re still in grief and mourning the departed singer”.

Following the death of the singer, different reactions has surfaced online. Apostle Suleiman took to social media to mourn the death of the

singer and also to chastise those that didn’t lend a helping hand to the Sammy during his trying times.
