Everyone knows me and Wizkid were the first young artists. Nigerian superstar and performer popularly known as Davido has revealed in a recent interview that he and Wizkid were the first young artist to blow up. While others like Burna boy, Rema, Fireboy, Asake, Mayorkun and the rest followed suit.
Speaking in the interview, Davido States “Wizkid and I were the first young artistes to blow up and it feels good seeing new cats like Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun and Asake kllling it now”.
Since his statement, fans have been on loggerheads, stating that his comments were unnecessary. Because it’s only going to result to more rift between the artists and their fans. Others stated that Burna Boy shouldn’t be classified in the same category as upcoming artist. Because he’s way ahead of them.
Meanwhile, speaking in the interview the singer stated that when taking about young artist who blew up. Him and Wizkid would easily come to mind regardless of the new talented artist we have now.
