Nigerian sensational singer, Timi Dakolo, berates those who are in the habit of giving unwarranted advice
to those who are grieving instead of offering condolence or sympathizing with them.
The singer Timi Dakolo affirmed that it’s wrong to give advice to a grieving person when they lose a loved one and added that it is not in
anyone’s place to suggest what the person should have done differently to prevent the situation or how they ought to grief.
He continued that the timing of such is wrong, instead people should learn how to pray for them and go about their business.
“It is not your job to advice a grieving person, the timing is wrong. Just pray for them and go your way.” He wrote.
This is coming after the unfortunate news of Davido and fiance Chioma losing their 3 year old song Ifeanyi to drowning.
The death which left many devastated occurred on November 1st, 2022 at David family residence.
The little boy was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The couple had traveled for a family event to Ibadan and had left Ifeanyi with his caregivers who can’t seem
to explain how he entered the pool unnoticed and drowned.
