Daniel Rehga slams Burna. Daniel Regha has shared his thoughts about the African Giant in a recent tweet that has got fans talking. Burna boy who is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer is one artist to reckon with. The singer has bagged for himself multiple national and interest awards, with the latest being a Grammy award.
Though Burna Boy didn’t take home any award in the just concluded Grammy award ceremony. Regardless he bagged four nominations in various categories, and the singer has made a solid name for himself. With such glory comes much criticism and the singer hasn’t left out of the backlash.
Recently fans called him out over his silence in the just concluded National elections, and expressed their disappointment. Adding to the fact that he sings about the strüggles and when it’s time to speak up, he chose silence. Daniel Regha has also come for the singer calling him a Chi!dish Adult.
He wrote; “Burna is a ch!ldish adult, but he’s an a-list artiste; Don’t compare him to up comers like Rema, that’s beyond disrespectful. Aside from industry icons, the only artists who’re leagues above Burna in the music industry are Davido, Wizkid & Olamide. Rate him accordingly. No offense.”
It appears that Daniel is trying to say that Burna boy shouldn’t be compared with upcoming artists because it would be an utter disrespect to him. And everything he has achieved in the course of his career. According to him, Burna boy should only be compared with artists like Olamide, Wizkid, and Davido, as they’re the only ones up to his level.
