Burna boy replies trolls. The self-proclaimed African Giant finally gives his voice to the ongoing allegations. The singer who fans have called out over his silence during the recently concluded elections has responded with reasons. Burna gave his reasons for not involving himself in any political alliances or discussions.
According to the singer he kept a distance and his mouth shut because he knows how politics go in Nigeria. Stating he doesn’t know why it’s such a big deal to some Nigerians that he hasn’t been involved. Burna boy claims the reason for this is that he personally doesn’t have a candidate he believes in. So in effect, doesn’t see the need to endorse anyone.
While adding to the fact that he has never supported any candidate ever in his life. Because he doesn’t want anyone blaming him whenever the person f#cks up as usual. As it’s the norm with Nigerian leaders. Regardless he hopes all votes count and the best man wins.
In Burna’s words; “I don’t know why it’s such a big deal to some Nigerians that I’ve not been vocal about the elections. Personally, I don’t have a candidate I believe in. I’ve never supported any political party or candidate in my life because I don’t want to make you vote, and then blame me when the person f#cks up as usual. That being said I hope all votes count and the best man wins”.
Nigerians on the other hand called his stated cap, as videos of the singer praising his state governor went viral online. Some fans think he only uses the issues of the country for hit songs and goes mute whenever his voice is needed.
