BNXN, formerly known as Buju names Burna Boy as the best in Nigeria music industry
The Nigerian musician and performer BNXN formerly known as Buju in a recent interview revealed the personalities of Nigeria’s three biggest artists. During the interview, he talked about his musical journey. And how he started young but had to pause to focus on school. Before delving back fully after discovering music was his calling and not the regular 9 to 5.
BNXN’s music has been described as classic to music lovers and the talented artist has gone on to achieve great strides. On the topic of Burna Boy being the greatest in Nigeria’s music industry. He used Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido’s behaviours to explain his point.
According to him, “For longevity in this game, you need something more than the music. Nobody is asking you to be controversial all the time but you need a personality that people can like. That’s that guy take for instance Burna now, before now if you came at Burna in the internet. He is going to reply to you and tell you his mind. Even if it wasn’t on the internet maybe you said something on the radio and he hears it. He’s going to come on the internet and tell you his mind”.
“It’s not that he’s arrogant or anything it’s just a personality that’s just who he is. And you know that you can’t take away the musical part from him, that he’s one thousand per cent the best. Then Wizkid thrives off his silence. Then there’s OBO who shows you that he’s affluent and carries everyone along. And not a single person is left behind in his team”. He said.
