Banky W breaks his silence. The Nigerian RnB singer, songwriter, and performer Banky Wellington has been vying for the seat of the House of Representatives. The father of one and husband to actress Adesuwa Etomi has finally spoken after losing the election. The election which was one of a king and one Nigerian came out en mass to vote and saw much drama unfold.
Banky has spoken up after the long silence saying that he saw this day and he gives thanks for it. Despite not winning as he has hoped for, but believes that God knows best and has other plans for him. The singer accepted his defeat as he lost to opponent Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party.
Fans of the singer blamed him for not making the best decision while picking a party to align with. According to them, he would have won if he had gone with Labour Party following the recent event in government. Being a youth and someone that has people who love him and his music, it would have been a landslide win.
Regardless the singer was giving kudos for handling his defeat in the best way, unlike some political aspirants. His show of sportsmanship is something to admire and fans have expressed their sincere admiration for him.
