Asake overtakes Davido’s spot on the Apple Music Chart. Nigerian music artist and rave of the moment Asake has the streets and social media buzzing after overtaking Davido. While the talented singer is currently sitting majestically on the number one spot after Davido sat on it for days. Davido’s fans are in shock.
Davido’s new album has been on the Apple Top 100 song claiming the first ten spot. The album seems to intimidate other songs as none has dared to claim the first ten spots. So it was quite shocking when Asake’s 2:30 broke the record. And not only made it to the top ten but moved all the way to the number one spot.
Davido’s fans were shocked by the new development as they swore to reclaim their spot. Asake’s talent is undeniable, even David acknowledged it in one of his interviews where he said. “I am a very big fan of Asake, in fact, I had to corner Olamide in order to get him on one of the tracks on Timeless”.
