Job Overview:
PRADCO Outdoor Brands’ Moultrie Mobile is seeking a WordPress Developer to join their team. The primary responsibilities of this position include implementing web designs and redesigns in collaboration with the UX/UI Designer and the marketing team. The role involves developing custom ecommerce WordPress sites, performing both front-end and back-end web development, and conducting updates and testing. Additionally, coordination with contract teams for larger projects is part of the role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the UX/UI Designer and marketing team to implement web designs/re-designs.
- Develop custom ecommerce WordPress websites.
- Independently perform front- and back-end web development.
- Conduct routine updates and testing, either independently or as requested.
- Coordinate efforts with contract teams for larger projects.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. (In lieu of a degree, candidates with equivalent work experience will be considered).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in web development.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in WordPress.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience in ecommerce web development.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and how to implement them in WordPress templates.
- Plugin knowledge with experience in researching and installing plugins.
- Experience with web hosting and launching websites.
- Deep understanding of CSS.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and ability to work with .NET is a plus.
- Experience using WooCommerce.
- Experience using Magento.
